Happy Monday

HOPE! That is our focus this week. Our hope is in Christ, and how blessed that assurance is, that He will be born, live a perfect life, die and raise from the dead, that we would have eternal life. That is something to be hopeful for indeed!

We spent our morning focusing on two big phonetic and grammatical concepts:

digraph ch....chip, chat, chart and TRIGRAPH tch-- patch, pitch, hatch, match (short vowels get the trigraph ending!)

                                                          AND
's for possession! This is everywhere. See if you can spot it on signs, in books, on postcards! Everywhere!

In math today, we worked on even numbers. 0,2,4,6,8 even numbers are really great!
There is math side b and facts side b for homework.

And MR. HOCH read to us today! He read a story about the biggest bear. It was a GOOD ONE! The ending was unexpected! Can your firstie tell you what happened?
