After that, we worked really hard on using digraphs ch and th. We are getting pretty slick at this!! We then wrote a class story using order words. Why is it important that authors use ordering words in their writing?
We also worked through all our centers before recess!! We were speedy!
After recess, we learned about David and Goliath. Have your firstie tell you the story of David and Goliath-- it's a good one!
After lunch, we worked on finding numbers on a hundred chart. The amazing thing is, we have been doing this ALL YEAR- so we are pretty much pros :)
Finally, we worked on our new science unit- light and dark, day and night.
