Friday Note for the upcoming week: Dec. 4-8, 2017
This week’s events:
It’s December! How exciting is the Advent season, as we prepare our hearts and homes for the birth of our Savior! I always LOVE to watch the JOY of Christmas through the eyes of firsties. I pray that this season will be a blessing in your homes, as well.

MCF family donations:
As you gather your donations, you can send them in (after Thanksgiving). We will have a special space for them in the classroom.
December parent help:
ChrisKindle Market - We will shop on Friday, Dec. 15 from 10-11am. You are welcome to come and be a “personal shopper”, if not for your kiddo (because you love surprises) for another firstie. Just let me know you’re coming! It will be fun!
Christmas Party Date and Time: Our first grade party will be combined with the other class too! We will celebrate Jesus’s birth on Friday, Dec. 22 from 2-3pm. Mrs. Cundiff is already planning this, and I know she will be reaching out to you for assistance to make this a memorable celebration for our kiddos.
Third Grade Buddy Christmas Gifts: We will be getting with our buddies on Monday, Dec. 18. We are planning on doing a craft and eating a snack together. If you would like to donate individually wrapped Rice Crispy bars (50 total), please text me and let me know. Please do not PURCHASE Christmas gifts for you child’s buddy. We will make something in class to give our buddies, so everyone has something to give, and no one feels left out.
Advent Worship: What a blessing it is to take time out of this busy season to really focus on the REASON for this season. Advent worship will take place on Wednesdays Dec. 6, 13, and 20th at both 3:30pm and 7pm. I look forward to seeing you there!
