We read together the biography of Dr. Seuss today. Can your firstie tell you anything about him? He led an interesting life! We worked through our centers as well, really focusing on the combination -ar.

We did have time today for computer class before lunch too!
After lunch, we worked on weighing items with pennies. How heavy was Matthew's water bottle? How about the tape? Tomorrow, everyone gets to weigh their own items!
We reviewed habitats today by watching quick clips of real animals in their natural habitats! Which habitat would your first grader want to live in?
Finally, we ended the day with the Israelites crossing into the promised land! What did they do to remember all that God did for them?
