We began our day with November journals. We are writing about Thanksgiving. Today's topic was "What do you eat on Thanksgiving?" It would be a great topic at dinner tonight...what's your favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal?
We worked with our short e words today too. We are getting pretty good at spelling with the short vowels. Can your firstie tell you any words that have /e/ in them?
Our morning was pretty full wit both pe and art specials, but we did get a little bit of discussion in about SINGULAR and PLURAL nouns.

In the afternoon, we built our own bar graph for math. Everyone had a handful of shapes-- and they sorted and recorded. Quite the mathematicians!
We ended our day illustrating our Memory Verses from the first quarter. They are FANTASTIC!
