We started our day RIGHT AWAY with language arts. We are working on the long i sound, spelled i_e, so that's what we started with!

Then we took our brainstorming web, and turned it into a paragraph about an animal! We first did one as a class....

then partners "passed the pencil" and did AMAZING WORK!

We got through our centers, each group working on just exactly what they needed. Then we came back from recess and talked about Baptism. Have you shared the great story about your child's baptism? Everyone loves to hear how they became part of God's own family!

After lunch, we took a math test...pretty simple, because we are working hard on our math journals each day! 

Then we worked together to beat our "writing stamina". Seven minutes plus a prompt equals a room full of hard working, very proud children!
