Today, we began our day with reading. Right away, off the bat, with fresh brains, we tackled proper nouns! What is the difference between a common noun and a proper noun. Can you find any proper nouns as you read together tonight!?

We then worked on comparing and contrasting two books. This is a Text-to-text connection, and good readers do this so they can understand the stories better!

We spent a little time this morning at the spelling bee too! We came back before we got too ansy and practiced our -2 wrap ups! Math homework tonight!!

After lunch, we learned that Jesus heals our sin sickness AND our body sicknesses. Can you name some sin-sicknesses? What about body sicknesses? Pray tonight and thank God that He sent Jesus to heal our hearts from sin. What a great and mighty God we have!!

Finally, we worked through our centers. We love afternoon centers. It really gives us more time to spend in small groups, with books, and with reading.
