We began our day in chapel. We are talking about GRACE and how GRACE is a free gift from God! Grace changes everything for us.
We headed next to choir. Can you sing Away in a Manger together? It's a great song to kick of December.
We talked then about three different suffices: -s (more than one), -ed (already happened), -ing (happening now). As you read together tonight, see if you can spot any of these suffixes anywhere!
After recess, we worked through our centers again today. We are really working on building stamina. Ask what story your firstie listened to today.
After lunch, we started working on TIME TO THE HOUR! SO FUN!! Here's a link to practice:

We also sang "When the big hand's at the top, we say it's ....o'clock...." It's catchy-- you've been warned. :)
We ended the day with Library time and story time and singing.
NO HOMEWORK TONIGHT! I am getting in the habit of no hw on Wednesdays for Advent, even though I know Advent starts Sunday.
