We began our day making turkeys, with a directed draw. The JOY of these are that while we all are making the same thing, they all come out differently!
We then worked on our new story: A Cupcake Party. Can your firstie tell you the events of the story? Who were the characters? What was the setting?
In the afternoon, we worked on making four different designs that filled the same space. This was a little tricky, but a lot of fun! Next week, we will match up designs to see what was the most popular in the class!
We talked about wants and needs today. What is the difference? What are the things we NEED? What are the things we want?
Finally, we talked about being on a battlefield. We are on a battlefield, every day of our life. What are we battling? What is our FIRST AND BEST DEFENSE!? First, we pray!!
Tomorrow is a GREAT DAY! We are having STUFFY DAY! Send in a stuffed animal to celebrate hard work!
