We began our day with Chapel and our buddies and Mr. Chapman telling us that life isn't fair. He told us THANKFULLY it isn't fair...because it surely wasn't fair that Jesus, who was perfect, died for us, who aren't perfect. But that's how amazing God is....He knew we would need to a Savior. And He sent his own Son for us. That's love.
We worked on Suffix S today. It means "more than one". When you are talking tonight, or reading together, see if you spot any suffix Ss on root words! I bet you will!!
After recess, we worked through our centers ! We are getting really good at working together in small groups and staying focused the whole time! We also did some sentence practice to get the hang of what sentences look like-with capital letters and punctuation marks!
After lunch, we explored GEOBOARDS. We made shapes, and then talked about inside and outside. There is math homework - side B tonight.
We ended our day with library. It was a good day! OH- and we had a fire drill in the middle! We will get the hang of that soon...it is just SO LOUD! (That's a good thing!)
