During Jesus time today, we talked about repenting. We talked how that means we TURN away from sin and keep focused on Jesus. Jesus can turn our hearts back to Him, and when that happens, we act differently! Your firstie has a picture that shows how God turns our hearts around.
In the afternoon, we learned about TRIANGLES! Can you find any at home? We hunted for them here at school. Where did your first grader find his/hers?

Finally, we started talking about Matter and how it has three different "states" or catagories! Can you name anything that is solid? Liquid? Gas? How can a solid change into a liquid? Think about ice. What makes it turn into water?
