We played a FUN REVIEW GAME in Language Arts today. We each wrote our spelling words, then we moved around the room, crossing off words from friends' lists! Talk about reading and writing all in one!!
After that, we headed to PE and then recess. We DID see Diver Dan today!! He waved right to us from the National Aquarium in Baltimore!
Purple bags came home today. Everyone has a reader in there! Send them back tomorrow!!
In the afternoon, we took a math test! It was our first one!!
We also practiced our FROG JUMP CAPITALS! These all start in the top left corner. And they JUMP back to the starting point after drawing a line, top to bottom. Knowing this strategy will greatly reduce the number of reversals we see!!
After that, we played a "guess what is in the bag" science exploration! What was in the bag? This is easy to play at home. Hide something in a paper bag...using only your hands, reach in and take a guess! We then described our items using property words.
