9.12

Today, we began with learning about Morning Bins. We are going to have a chance from 8-8:10 to have a little exploration time. There are 8 different bins, with 8 different activities. Once morning work is turned in, the firsties can pick their activity. We know when we hear Mr. Hoch's voice, we clean up and start our day. We practiced this today! Ask what morning bin your firstie explored this morning.

"Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding...in all of your ways, acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight!!" That was our song and our theme for our Bible event today.  Abram trusted God's promise. What did God promise Abram? Why did it seem like it would never happen? Has anyone ever broken a promise with you? How does that feel? How does it feel knowing God ALWAYS keeps His promises?

We began small center work today, while Mrs. Hardies read with different groups. Here, we practiced short I words by playing connect four!

Mrs. Hardies gets to work with small groups. One activity we do is practice blending sounds together to make words. We are becoming ROCK STARS!

After lunch, we practiced writing these digits. They are tricky, but remember, top to bottom, left to right! Practice these at home tonight! (We earned no homework because of filling our potato head!)

Finally, we talked about senses. God gives us our senses so we can explore the world that He created! What are the 5 senses He gives us? Did you use any tonight at home? What for?
