Wednesday 11/17

 We began today with phonics!! We learned two new final stable syllables (tle and gle) and we learned the sight word EYE. Can your firstie spell "eye"? We used our own faces to help us!!

We headed over to chapel, and had a beautiful service of dedication for the Operation Christmas Child boxes. Ask your firstie what chapel was about today.

After chapel, we came back to the classroom and learned about Article Adjectives....

Can your firstie tell you when to use "a" and when to use "an"? We practiced a ton today! 

We also did a special retelling of A Cupcake Party, the story we read this week. Ask your firstie what happened first, next and last in the story! (It's a cute one!!)

Finally, after lots of specials and a nice lunch and recess, we settled down to math. There is one page of math homework tonight.... it's in the workbook they have in their backpacks...page 124. 

We ended our A day with an extra recess, because we had 10 compliments given to us by other adults in the building during the month of November.
