Wednesday 5/23

Today, we began with chapel. Mr. Hoch told us all about Memorial Day and why it is such an important day as Americans.

We also walked over to the cemetery for a worship service and a chance to honor fallen soldiers by placing flags at their gravesites.

Ms. Ritz did an outstanding job leading the remembrance service today.

We came back, worked on the prefixes UN and RE. One of the best parts of our day was reading time...we had time to read quietly or with  a friends, and it was wonderful to watch all the stamina that we have built up this year!

After lunch, we talked about reading a thermometer! If you have one at home, for weather or for sickness, show it to your firstie. We worked hard on learning how to read these.

We wrapped up another page in our animal study! We did "Fun Facts" today. What fun facts does your firstie know about his/her animal?

Homework: Side B.
Have a blessed gorgeous night!
