Thursday 5/24

Today, we began our day with a special BIRTHDAY SONG to Mr. Leinberger. Then we came back and reviewed our story, talking about the problems and the solution to "Winners Never Quit". Can you have your firstie tell you the plot of the story?

We worked on UN- and RE- words today too. It was great to see that we are becoming great spellers.

After a gorgeous PE class and a beautiful recess where we releases dome of our beetles, we had a special reader. Ms. S, the Principal for the Day, came in and read us a story!

We talked about Elijah and Elisha and how Elijah went to heaven. It's amazing how God uses power. Check out the story in 2 Kings 2.

In the afternoon, we worked on subtracting half of a double. This is a piece of cake if you know your double facts!! We then made great patriotic three-corner hats and cleaned out our desks.
