Monday

Today after our first-thing-Monday-morning PE class, we took the first section of our reading test. This unit review has 5 different parts...so we just take it one each day, and we sail through! In fact, we were so quick that we even got to talk about idioms~~ We are creating a class book tomorrow using idioms. Do you have any favorites that you say often?

After a gorgeous recess, we took a math test...easy peasy! Then we talked about Pentecost. How did the apostles know that the Holy Spirit was with them? What was amazing about the way they spoke? We will talk more about this tomorrow as well.

After lunch, we learned about MEALWORMS. Have your firstie tell you 8 things that we know about mealworms. We are in for a real adventure, watching these change into beetles. It may take a few weeks, but hopefully we will see some change before the end of the school year!

No homework tonight!
