Today, first thing we became AR EXPERTS! Mrs. Looker gave us the lowdown on how we can keep a list this summer of everything we read, so we can take AR tests on it in the fall!! YAY!!
We also did a special end-of-the-year team building project for our hallway. Stay tuned..you will love it!
We worked on VCV words and VCCV words. These help us sound out words but segmenting them easily and quickly.
We played outside and went to computers today too! It seems like this day is involving LOTS of travelling!
After lunch, we worked on subtracting numbers without regrouping. This is REALLY SIMPLE when you remember to start in the ones column. PIECE OF CAKE!
No homework tonight! Use the time to practice counting coins together!!
Finally, we finished our science magazine and added a few extra facts to our zoo animal books. We are getting ready to be zoo experts!!
