Monday of Holy Week

We eased ourselves into this Holy Week starting with PE today, followed by reading. Our focus sound is :

oo  as in school
ew like new
and ui like fruit.

We practiced our spelling test and read about the lifecycle of a butterfly. 

After recess and art and lunch and recess again, we had two secret readers!

Mrs. Sarconi and Mrs. May helped us celebrate the month of March by being readers to us!

Then we worked on our science experiment. We are trying to dissolve peeps, waiting to see what peep will disappear first! What is your guess?


We then focused on our first three Resurrection Eggs. These tell the story of Holy Week with symbols. What were today's items and how do they fit into the story?
