Thursday 2.22.18

We began our day talking about the Rich Man who wanted to know how he could get into heaven. What did Jesus tell him? What can we learn from this? It's so easy to let money become what we love more than Jesus, but commandment #1 is "You shall have no other Gods." This means we need to keep Jesus first.

We reviewed our verb usage today, too! We worked on ARE and IS and WAS and WERE. Listen closely tonight and point out if you hear these words!!

In math today, we worked on the word CONGRUENT. This means, same shape, same size. Look around; do you see anything congruent?

For facts, the doubles rap is REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT.

Here it is again, just to keep it fresh in our minds.

We ended our day with science! We learned about forces- specifically about PUSH and PULL.  We used tug of war as an example. How is that a push  AND a pull? 

Finally, we are working on a piece of art! Wearable ART! Everyone is pitching in and making this dress look amazing!
