Chapel today was about GOing when God calls us...sometimes, we don't feel ready. But God knows the plans He has for us! Was there ever a time that you had to GO somewhere or DO something that you weren't ready for? How did God get you through that?
We came back to the room after choir and took our second part of our reading test. We are really close to wrapping up unit 3! We even had time to work with partners on ghost-letter digraphs, and sorting! Mrs. Hardies listened to readers one at a time, while we kept busy reading together too.
Inside recess today--BOO HOO!
After lunch, we created designs, and then made graphs from our designs. Check out the backpacks for some pretty awesome graphs. Can you ask your firstie a question about the graph, like "How many more triangles than trapezoids did you have?" Engage them to talk about their work.
Finally, we wrote about PET PENGUINS! So many words, in only 7 minutes.
No homework tonight!
