We worked this morning (in a very quiet room...I think everyone was sleepy!) on out Luther's Rose watercolor. These are beautiful. I can't wait to post a picture later!
After a great choir class- we sing on Sunday!- we worked on STATEMENTS. A statement TELLS something. It starts with a capital and ends with a period. As you read together tonight, point out any statements that you may see.
We had GREAT centers- we enjoyed our time with blends and word building! Practice rhyming tonight!! It's a GREAT skill to have!
In the afternoon, we read my second favorite book, "The Little House". What happened to the little house?
Then we measured....we took our linking cubes and used them to measure items in our classroom. What did your firstie measure?
We ended our day with Library Time, and desk cleaning! It's important to start the month off fresh!
