We began today with a brand new story! A MYSTERY!!! What is a mystery? Why are they fun to read? What happened to Skeet's boat? So many fun clues in our story. Here's a link to listen:
We also practiced our new spelling words. Our suffixes this week are -ly and -ful and -y. Nothing too fancy!! We TOTALLY are getting this!!
After recess, we worked on a new math lesson!
We subtracted ten from a number. This is easy as taking away a dime...not changing the pennies at all!
No HOMEWORK! We filled our potato on Friday, and that was what the spinner spun. WHoo hoo, enjoy the night!
After lunch, we worked on a newest story, Lazarus. Who is a hero to you? What makes someone a hero? What makes Jesus a hero?
After Jesus time, we chose animals for our animal report. These are all animals at the Detroit Zoo! So it's exciting because we will be the experts by the time we visit there!!

We ended the day with some choice centers.
