Our Mondays are often off to a slow start...we have PE right away so it takes a few minutes to get used to each other.
We come back to reading, and today we learned all about the CVC patterning. These are words like: lady, baby, tiger, paper, later. Splitting these into syllables helps us spell them correctly.
We had ART today! That's super fun! We worked on Cat Pictures!!
After lunch, we finished our book "Do Snowmen Drink Hot Chocolate?" and then jumped right into math! We were counting quarters! Here's the song we listened to so the pattern would stick:

After that, we learned about how Elijah prayed that God would send fire, while Baal did not help his prophets at all! God is so real, so powerful, and listens to our prayers! Thank God for a prayer he has answered for you when you pray tonight.
